Great subject for a portrait. The plaid blanket behind the hippopotamus fits nicely with it's plaid heart. As for the perspective it locks the eye on the hippo, but since the chair behind it covers the entire backround looks odd. Perhaps a closer shot with a bit of the hippo going off the edge could be more of an impact. If not a zoomed out view with just an edge of the chair visable, just a thought. 5/8
